01 | Visual Continuity — Transforming the Space with Macaroon Oak

The living room already featured impressive high ceilings, but the original dark flooring made the interior feel heavier and prevented the space from reaching its full potential.

For this renovation, we selected warm-toned Macaroon oak flooring, pairing it with crisp white walls and natural wood furniture to create a softer, more cohesive colour palette.

Bringing Light into Darker Areas

The lighter natural wood tones help reflect available light throughout the home, making even areas with limited natural light—such as hallways—feel brighter, more open, and visually connected.

The continuous flooring also enhances the sense of flow throughout the home, allowing the high ceilings and natural light to become defining features of the interior.

As part of the renovation, we also upgraded the laundry room vanity and storage system, focusing on low-maintenance materials and practical organization.

Custom enclosed cabinetry keeps plumbing and everyday essentials neatly concealed, while clean cabinet lines reduce visual clutter and create a more streamlined appearance.

03 | Creating a Lighter, More Open Home

The home's existing floor-to-ceiling windows already provided excellent natural light. By introducing a more consistent material palette, we were able to create a stronger connection between the natural light, warm oak flooring, and surrounding interior finishes.

The result is a home that feels calmer, brighter, and more spacious.

This project was more than simply replacing the flooring. It was an opportunity to redefine the atmosphere of the entire home.
