Project_CB - Home Renovation - Burnaby

This full-home renovation brings together refined aesthetics and everyday functionality. Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, the design combines warm, muted colours, sophisticated hardware, and thoughtful space planning to create a home that feels calm, inviting, and effortlessly modern.

Core Renovation Highlights

01. Kitchen | Muted Green & Refined Details

✔ Muted green cabinetry becomes the visual focal point of the kitchen, adding character and warmth while moving beyond the traditional all-white palette.
✔ Brushed metal handles and a matte gold faucet introduce subtle touches of understated luxury without overwhelming the minimalist design.
✔ A spacious marble-look countertop provides generous preparation space and a clean, seamless appearance. An integrated K6 instant hot water filtration system adds modern convenience while maintaining the kitchen’s streamlined aesthetic.

02. Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 | Clean Black & White Minimalism
A crisp, all-white palette creates a bright and timeless foundation.
The spacious double vanity provides dedicated space for two, while a smart touch-control LED mirrored cabinet adds both storage and functionality.
Matte black fixtures—including the faucet and shower system—create a bold contrast against the white finishes, giving the bathroom a clean and contemporary look.

Bathroom 2 | Marble-Inspired Elegance
The second bathroom introduces more visual character with a sophisticated marble-look vessel sink.
Paired with a matte black faucet and a minimalist mirror, the combination creates a simple yet highly refined space where the details become the focal point.

03. Integrated Wardrobe | Seamless Storage

✔ A large-scale built-in white wardrobe with concealed-style doors blends seamlessly into the surrounding walls, maintaining a clean and uninterrupted appearance.
✔ Warm wood-tone drawers are integrated through the centre of the cabinetry, adding natural contrast and breaking up the all-white composition.
✔ Behind the minimalist exterior, the wardrobe provides generous, well-organized storage for clothing and everyday essentials.

04. Bedrooms | Colour with Character

✔ Sky Blue: Light wood flooring paired with a Scandinavian-inspired sky-blue accent wall enhances the natural light and creates a fresh, airy atmosphere.
✔ Dusty Blue: A low-saturation blue wall paired with a large beige area rug creates a soft, relaxing environment designed for rest.
✔ Forest Green: Layered muted green accent walls bring depth and character to the room, creating a calm atmosphere inspired by a peaceful forest retreat.

The Completed Transformation

Every element—from the muted green kitchen and contrasting bathroom fixtures to the integrated cabinetry and individually designed bedrooms—works together to create a home that feels bright, cohesive, comfortable, and distinctly personal.
