Homeowner’s Challenges & Renovation Goals
Although the original bathroom was fully functional, its yellow-toned walls, outdated small-format tiles, oversized corner jetted tub, and tall oak cabinetry made the space feel cramped and visually heavy. The existing layout also limited movement and made everyday use less convenient.
The homeowners wanted to make better use of the available space while creating a brighter, cleaner, and more contemporary bathroom that would also be easier to maintain.
Key Renovation Solutions
Maximizing Space & Improving Flow
The oversized wood cabinetry, which took up valuable floor space without providing efficient storage, was removed.
Storage was reorganized into a more practical floor-mounted white vanity and cabinetry system, providing a larger countertop while improving circulation and making the overall bathroom feel more open.
Replacing the Tub with a Walk-In Shower
The bulky corner bathtub was removed and replaced with a spacious walk-in shower, creating a more practical and streamlined bathing area.
A black shower system paired with coordinated matte black fixtures introduces contrast and gives the bathroom a clean, modern look with subtle industrial-inspired details.
Creating a Brighter, Easier-to-Maintain Interior
A built-in LED vanity mirror paired with a contemporary wall light provides more balanced illumination for everyday routines.
Large-format light grey stone-look tiles were installed across the floor and walls. Fewer grout lines create a cleaner visual appearance while also making the surfaces easier to maintain and reducing areas where dirt and buildup can accumulate.
The completed renovation transforms the once dated and crowded bathroom into a space that feels brighter, more spacious, functional, and significantly easier to maintain.
