Bathroom Renovation | Moody Colours × Rich Textures

This bathroom renovation embraces a moody colour palette and rich material textures, creating a sophisticated, grounded, and distinctive atmosphere.

Designed for homeowners who appreciate bold interiors and strong visual character, the space combines deep blue, teal, natural wood, and chrome finishes to create a bathroom that feels both dramatic and refined.

🌟 Bathroom Renovation Highlights

1. Colour Palette & Overall Atmosphere

✅ Deep Blue Feature Walls
Rich blue walls define the space, while the lighter ceiling and flooring provide contrast and prevent the bathroom from feeling overly enclosed.
✅ Warm Wall Lighting
Brass-tone wall sconces with exposed filament-style bulbs introduce a warm glow and subtle vintage character, balancing the cooler tones throughout the bathroom.

2. Vanity Area

✅ Floating Wood-Grain Vanity
A floating vanity with a natural wood finish is paired with a crisp white countertop, combining contemporary simplicity with organic warmth.
✅ Smart Mirrored Cabinet
An illuminated mirrored cabinet provides integrated lighting and concealed storage, combining functionality with a clean, modern appearance.

3. Shower & Bathtub Area

✅ Blue-Green Vertical Tile
Elongated blue and green tiles are installed vertically to visually emphasize ceiling height.
Their handcrafted glazed finish creates subtle variations in colour and reflection, giving the wall a richer, more dimensional appearance.
✅ Glass Sliding Door
A transparent sliding glass enclosure with a minimal metal frame maintains an open visual connection throughout the bathroom.
✅ Modern Chrome Fixtures
Chrome shower fixtures and a contemporary square handheld shower provide a crisp metallic contrast against the darker tilework.

4. Finishing Details

✅ Concealed LED Lighting
Indirect ceiling lighting adds another layer of illumination, enhancing depth and giving the bathroom a more contemporary atmosphere.
✅ Balanced Material Palette
The combination of deep blue, rich teal, natural wood, and polished chrome creates a carefully balanced contrast between cool and warm materials.

A Bathroom with Character

Rather than relying on a traditional light and neutral palette, this renovation uses bold colour, texture, lighting, and material contrast to create a bathroom with a strong sense of identity.

The result is a modern space that feels sophisticated, atmospheric, and distinctly personal.
