Project_JR - Salon Renovation - Richmond

Before | The Original Space

Before the renovation, the space was designed primarily for functionality. Its overall style felt dated, with little visual consistency or cohesive design.

- The walls and flooring lacked a consistent style, while cool-toned lighting made the space feel cold and uninviting.
- A mix of wood-look flooring, stone-look finishes, and vinyl tiles created a visually disconnected appearance.
- The simple layout lacked depth and character, while the absence of décor and greenery made the overall atmosphere feel somewhat plain.

After | A Fresh New Look

For this renovation, we completely transformed the space with a soft French-inspired aesthetic, creating an environment that feels warm, calming, and refined.

A palette of muted tones and creamy whites, complemented by warm natural wood, creates a welcoming yet professional atmosphere designed to promote relaxation.

The reception and front desk area were redesigned with a combination of marble and wood finishes, giving the space a more polished and sophisticated look.

- French-inspired arches, wall moulding, and wood slat details add architectural depth and visual interest.
- The ceiling was also refreshed, while globe pendant lights and decorative wall sconces complete the space with warm, layered lighting.

Thoughtful Details | Bringing Warmth to the Space

We wanted the space to be more than simply beautiful—it also needed to feel comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed.

- Plush seating makes the waiting area more comfortable.
- Greenery and decorative accents bring warmth and life into the space.
- Carefully selected coffee tables and lighting enhance the overall ambience.

Together, these thoughtful details create a warmer environment and a more welcoming experience for every guest.

The Transformation

What was once a dated, function-first commercial interior has been transformed into a calming and sophisticated spa environment—a space where guests can relax, feel at ease, and enjoy a sense of comfort from the moment they walk in.

Every detail reflects our commitment to aesthetics, comfort, and professional craftsmanship, creating a space that not only looks beautiful but also supports the relaxing experience the spa aims to provide.
